General Residential Rental Information:

The utilities to be paid by the renter are the electric and cable.  (the heat is a new high efficiency electric heat punp)  It obviously depends on how you use the heating and cooling but you could expect the total electric bill to average around $150 - $200/month.  The water, the gas for the hot water, the gas and electric for the washer and dryer are paid for by the Landlord.


We require one months rent as a security deposit and have stringent history and income requirements.  $300 of the security deposit is non refundable and goes towards apartment turnover costs.


The lease payments are front loaded.  This is a University area so to prevent people from skipping on the summer months at the end of the lease it is structured to have the full years rent paid over the first 9 months with nothing being due the last three months.

Internet service is available and would be paid for by the tenant.  


Security is good.  The building is right on High St. and there is no safer place on campus.   There is no exposure walking down dark side streets.  There are both front and rear self locking security doors that you need to pass through to access the individual apartment doors.  Both front and rear apartment doors include dead bolts.  There are digitally recorded video cameras at the front and rear entrances and stairwells.
